Mid-Mountain Materials HYTEX® 1400 Fiberglass Industrial Textile
Categories: Ceramic; Glass; Glass Fiber; Other Engineering Material; Composite Fibers

Material Notes: Description: Hytex® is the trademark for the textile products manufactured by Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. Hytex high performance textile products are manufactured from various yarns of varying chemistry and in differing configurations (cloth, tape, sleeving, rope etc.). Mid-Mountain can design hybrid materials by blending most any combination of yarns.

HYTEX® 1400 textile products are produced from low-alkali fiberglass yam for use at temperatures where E-glass products would ordinarily fail. Strength is exceptional, weight is low, and dimensional stability excellent. Hytex® 1400 textiles are especially suited for use where high abrasion or temperatures between 1000ºF • 540ºC and 1400ºF • 760ºC are encountered.
