Material Notes:	Description: Adjust 4 is an easily handled liquid that may be added at any point in the manufacturing process. It does not require heat for activation. The Adjust 4 controls pigment settling without appreciably increasing apparent viscosity. This is very beneficial for systems such as linseed oil based stains. Adjust 4 also can be used to improve sag resistance in finished paints. Adjust 4 achieves these results by a combination of pigment wetting and controlled flocculation. Applications: Adjust 4 has two distinct applications. Adjust 4 can be used to correct poor sag resistance in finished batches of paint without appreciably increasing the apparent viscosity. Adjust 4 can also be used to improve pigment suspension in low viscosity systems, such as stains. This is accomplished by a combination of pigment wetting and controlled pigment flocculation. Adjust 4 is most widely used in trade sales alkyds and stains, but is also generally compatible with most coating systems Information provided by Southern Clay Products
