Go Yen Chemical GY- PFM17 Impact Modifier
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Intro: GY- PFM17 is a high effective impact modifier which can be widely used to PP, PE, TPR , engineering plastic and general plastic. GY- PFM17 can be compounded to various of engineering and general plastic; Moreover, it can enhance both chemical and physical properties, including impact-resistant, weather-resistant, strong elongation strength, excellent durability of low temperature, lower melt temperature, dispersibility, foaming properties… etc. The applications are package, film, compound, blow molding, foam products, PP PE modification…etc. GY- PFM17 not only increases impact-resistant of plastic product, but also brings added value and competitive power for customers. The product is already used to well- known elastomer, engineering and general plastic manufacturers in Japan, Korea, Europe, and USA.

Advantages:

  • Flexible ability and impact toughness for plastic
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Improve Viscosity Modifier
  • Good foam ability due to LCB (long chain branching) properties
  • High melt strength properties between general PP an HMSPP
  • Enhance scratch resistance
  • Increase weather resistance for plastic and elastomer
  • Suitable for transparent or colorful products
  • lower shrinkage and compression set
  • Improve color ability, surface finish, and soft touch
  • Excellent compatibility, good bonding ability with PP and mPE
  • Match with filler (talc, oil, calcium carbonate..etc), enhance the mixture ratio of film, granulation, compound
  • Excellent impact resistance at low temperature (-20?)
  • Improve the toughness (crystal density) of product, pellets are more stronger to avoid embrittlement
  • Enhance the dispersibility of organic pigment and mineral filler
  • Good thermal stability, the melt temperature can be reduced during mixing process.
  • Improve blow molding and blown film performance, bubble stability.
  • Increase the puncture resistance of film
  • Better tensile and tear strength
Applications:
  • Polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), EVA
  • Polyolefin pelletizing, pellet modification
  • TPR series : SBS,SEBS,SIS
  • PE : HDPE,LDPE,LLDE
  • Improve the disadvantage of embrittlement and strength decreased when PP, PE in high filler (calcium carbonate, talc, wood flour, etc …)
  • Cable & wire
  • TPU,TPR,TPE, PPE
  • Blow molding and foam products
  • Hollow extrusion and calendering
  • Thin Film, Blown film, Breathable Film
  • Fiber
  • Plug-in for internal and external
  • Package and personal care supplies
  • Soft-touch handle
  • Foam products for leisure, sport and general consumer.
  • PP filament, woven and non-woven fabric application
