Material Notes: GUARD DOG™ UV360 UV absorber is a low volatile dimeric 2-hydroxy benzotriazole based UV absorber which is highly effective in a wide range of polymers and resin compositions.

Applications: Extremely effective in acrylics, alkene polymers, polycarbonates and polyamides. It can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphate antioxidants and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use.

Performance Benefits:

  • Strong absorption of UV radiation in the 300 - 400 nm range and has a high degree of photostability and excellent thermal properties.
  • Low initial color and low volatility during high processing temperatures and has good extraction resistance. Helpful in preventing plate-out on molds and die-lip build-up

Typical Properties: Free flowing pale yellow powder, Color of 10% Toluene solution: Clear, Solubility@ 20°C (g/100m; solvent): Water <1 mg/L
