Evonik SIPERNAT® 268 Ceramic Powder
Categories: Other Engineering Material

Material Notes: SIPERNAT represents a specific product range of precipitated silica, aluminum and calcium silicates. SIPERNAT 268 is highly suitable for rubber applications, especially Silicone Rubber e.g. HTV Silicon Rubber. Careful adjustments of parameters such as surface area, particle size, oil absorption capacity and purity (conductivity) result in a product with different properties. SIPERNAT 268 is a fine milled silica with neutral pH value, with relatively high surface area, medium particle size and a very high purity based on selected raw materials. When using SIPERNAT 268, semi-transparent Silicon Rubber products with excellent mechanical properties and low yellowish discoloration can be achieved.
