LyondellBasell Hostalen CRP 100 RCD BLACK HDPE
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE)

Material Notes: Hostalen CRP 100 RCD black is a high density polyethylene (HDPE), black colored similar RAL 9004 with high melt viscosity for extrusion, injection and compression molding. The product is classified as PE 100-RC. This new generation of HDPE material has been designed to meet new technical requirements for drinking water piping systems. The material exabits an improved resistance against water disinfectants. The product provides excellent stress crack resistance properties (ESCR) combined with very good long term hydrostatic strength, making it the ideal choice for trenchless installation techniques. It fully complies with the new PE100-RC requirements in the draft EN 12201-1 : 2021. Hostalen CRP 100 RCD black is also compliant to ISO 4427-1. This grade is not intended for medical and pharmaceutical applications. This grade is supported for use in drinking water applications.
