| DANADD® MB-51LB is a slip masterbatch based on TPU. This additive masterbatch is supplied in a homogeneous and regular pellet form of a light grey color. DANADD® MB-51LB can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. DANADD® MB-51LB is added to the TPU pellets to obtain an anti-blocking effect and a better wax like surface of the extrudates or injection molding materials with good slip characteristics. Application: DANADD® MB-51LB is added to the corresponding DANADD® TPUs prior to their procession. Thanks to the universal binder contained in this additive masterbatch, this product can be used both with polyether- and polyester based TPUs. By the addition of DANADD® MB-51LB, excellent extrusion characteristics will be achieved and, first of all, the surface tack will be smaller and the anti-blocking effect will be improved. If films are produced, the addition of DANADD® MB-51LB will enable an earlier winding up of these films without any bonding. In case of injection molding applications, this additive will improve the demouldability.
