Danquinsa DANADD® MB-51LB Masterbatch
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: DANADD® MB-51LB is a slip masterbatch based on TPU. This additive masterbatch is supplied in a homogeneous and regular pellet form of a light grey color. DANADD® MB-51LB can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. DANADD® MB-51LB is added to the TPU pellets to obtain an anti-blocking effect and a better wax like surface of the extrudates or injection molding materials with good slip characteristics.

Application: DANADD® MB-51LB is added to the corresponding DANADD® TPUs prior to their procession. Thanks to the universal binder contained in this additive masterbatch, this product can be used both with polyether- and polyester based TPUs. By the addition of DANADD® MB-51LB, excellent extrusion characteristics will be achieved and, first of all, the surface tack will be smaller and the anti-blocking effect will be improved. If films are produced, the addition of DANADD® MB-51LB will enable an earlier winding up of these films without any bonding. In case of injection molding applications, this additive will improve the demouldability. All materials produced containing this additive masterbatch are distinguished by surfaces with good slip properties.
