MarkeTech MC-LD and MC-MD Ultra High Temperature Machinable Ceramic  (discontinued **)
Categories: Ceramic; Oxide

Material Notes: For very high temperatures or where thermal conductivity or thermal shock is important, these machinable alkaline/alkaline earth zirconium phosphate ceramics (NaZr2P3O12 or BaZr4P6O24) are useful. MC-LD is a lower density material suitable for use where thermal shock resistance is important. MC-MD is a higher density material that is superior where better abrasion and wear resistance are desired. These materials can be water quenched from 2550°F (1400°C).

MarkeTech International is no longer in business.
