Cabot BLACK PEARLS® E Specialty carbon black
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Product highlights: BLACK PEARLS E specialty carbon black is a low structure specialty black pigment suitable for use in UV cure ink applications.

Key applications: BLACK PEARLS E specialty carbon black designed for use in UV ink applications. It is a blue tone pigment black. Due to its oxidized surface, BLACK PEARLS E specialty carbon black disperses well and can impart low viscosity and good dispersion stability. In comparison to other carbon blacks for ink applications, BLACK PEARLS E has lower cure energy and photo initiator requirements. The dispersibility of BLACK PEARLS E specialty carbon black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. A product with similar morphology, MOGUL® E specialty carbon black, is available in an easier-to-disperse fluffy form.
