ISO-TECH ISO-LEN® POLYRUBBER PE-UHMW
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE); UHMW PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PE)

Material Notes: ISO-LEN® POLYRUBBER consists of two different thermoplastics: high molecular weight low-pressure polyethylene (ISO-LEN® 500, colours: red-brown, confetti or black) and thermoplastic elastomere (TPE; colour: black). These materials are either pressed together in two homogeneous composite layers, or the TPE is scattered in the upper surface-near layer of the PE. In the case of separate layers, the ISO-LEN® 500 makes it easy to fasten, for example by riveting or screwing it to a steel construction, while the product-contacting carrier material TPE optimizes the storage and transport of painted or delicate finished workpieces. In the interspersed version, a slip-resistant effect is achieved.

Applications:

  • Mechanical and plant engineering
  • Packaging and materials handling
  • Logistics
Types:
  • Sheet material (panels, cut-to-size)
  • Finished parts
Characteristics:
  • Very easy to assemble on frames
  • Excellent damping characteristics
  • Low-strain combination of the two materials
