Talc is a soft hydrous platy magnesium silicate mineral that is formed by the hydration of magnesium bearing rocks. Magnesitic Talc typically contains carbonates such as magnesite, dolomite and calcite. The particle size range of Fordatal gives versatility for use in many applications. Applications: S2 grades used in a number of bulk applications including kiln furniture manufacture, agriculture, roofing, coatings and plastics. - A grades for paint and plastic applications where color is of importance
- B grades for anti-caking agents and free flow carriers
- C grades for paints, plastics and cosmetics where color is of prime importance.
