Material Notes: Teflon™ PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) industrial coatings have: The highest operating temperature of any fluoropolymer (260 °C [500 °F]). The lowest coefficient of friction. Good abrasion and chemical resistance. PTFE industrial coatings are commonly used in mold release applications for products such as golf balls and rubber mats, but can be utilized in multiple applications and uses. These PTFE coatings for multi-coat systems are only available as a water-based liquid.
