Specialty Compounds RTP Company
Cadi 162 Copper Alloy
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Copper Alloy

Material Notes: Cadmium addition to copper increases hardness and resistance to softening. C16200 is utilized in numerous applications where fatigue strength and high electrical conductivity are required. Cadmium Copper is also specified for spot welding aluminum; the high thermal conductivity helps to prevent electrode sticking on these soft, conductive materials.
