Blow molding is a manufacturing process by which hollow plastic parts are formed. In general, there are three main types of blow molding: extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, and injection stretch blow molding. Mostly the TPEs parts are manufactured by extrusion blow molding. The process starts with melting TPEs into tube. The tube is clamped into a blow molding mold. The tube is pinched at one end, welding it together and then air is blown into it. The air inflates the TPEs out to match the mold cavity. Once the TPEs has cooled down and hardened, the mold opens and the part is ejected. Phon Tech has developed PHOENIX™ Blow Molding Grade Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) that are suitable for blow molding process. They can be used for medical balloon tamponade, BP cuff balloon, dropper suction, blower bulb, toy, automotive bellow, etc. Features: - Smooth and silky surface
- Non-sticky
- Excellent tensile strength
- Excellent resilience
- Stable melt flow
Applications: Blown film, BP cuffballoon, toys, medical balloon tamponade, blower bulb, etc.Information provided by Phon Tech Industrial Company |
