| Description: Conoco Hydroclear PowerDrive Fluid meets the stringent performance requirements of powershift transmissions, final drives, and wet-disc brakes typically found in equipment manufactured by Caterpillar and Allison. Hydroclear PowerDrive Fluid meets the requirements of the Caterpillar TO-4 specification. The SAE 10W and 30 grades are approved as Allison C-4 transmission fluids, and the SAE 10W, 30 and 50 have been approved as a Komatsu KES 07.868.1 transmission oil. PowerDrive offers outstanding FZG gear-wear protection and Vickers 35VQ25 hydraulic-pump protection. Today's powershift transmissions, final drives and wet-disc brakes feature complex design and advanced materials. They require fluids that are specially formulated to enhance their performance. Hydroclear PowerDrive Fluid controls the friction in powershift transmissions, which employ as many as seven metallic and nonmetallic friction materials in the clutch pack. Its stable friction characteristics minimize brake noise, clutch slippage under heavy load, weakening of the binder in paper materials and embrittlement of elastomeric materials.
