Application: EM 1476 is a 40% active anionic emulsion of 250,000 cSt polydimethylsiloxane. The high molecular weight dimethicone emulsion demonstrates excellent dilution stability at very low concentrations and is chemically inert. This emulsion was developed as an effective release agent for a variety of applications. EM 1476 is specially formulated to be used in many industrial mold release applications. This product has also proven to be an effective lubricant and hydrophobic agent when formulated into a coating application.
