General Product Info: Mylar® ASH1 has a tensile strength that averages 28,000 psi, has excellent resistance to moisture and most chemicals, and exceptional durability in high-temperature environments. Because it contains no plasticizers Mylar® AHS1 does not become brittle with age under normal conditions. Typical Applications: Mylar® AHS1 is a unique product whose shrinkage and high resistance to deformation make it well suited for applications such as carbon ribbons and electrical insulation.
