| Product Description: Mansil® ZX LPH is a precipitated, synthetic sodium aluminum silicate. ZX LPH is a semi-reinforcing filler for use in all types of elastomeric compounds to provide a broad range of properties. Mansil® ZX LPH exhibits excellent process features for extruded and molded articles. Applications: Mansil® ZX LPH offers unique processing characteristics for finished articles as a mid-range filler. Mansil® ZX LPH serves as a semi-reinforcing filler with moderate abrasion resistance and good processing properties at a suitable price point. Mansil® ZX LPH works well in the production of extruded goods, where surface smoothness is required. In addition, the high whiteness value of Mansil® ZX LPH is ideal for non-black articles. The typical dosage range is from 10 to 150 phr. The ability of Mansil® ZX LPH to absorb large quantities of process oils, cause it to be the product of choice for highly extended EPDM compounds. This characteristic causes Mansil® ZX LPH to serve as an essential formulating asset in the polymer chemist’s tool belt.
