Resinlab® AR 4340 HP Metal Bonding Methacrylate Adhesive
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Methacrylate; Methacrylate Adhesive

Material Notes: Resinlab™ AR 4340 HP is a 1:1 mix methacrylate-based structural adhesive designed for general purpose bonding of a wide variety of materials in industrial applications. It is an accelerated version of AR 4305. AR 4340 HP forms tough, durable bonds to most plastics, composites, metals, ceramics, and woods in all combinations. Surface cleaning or preparation, or the use of primers, or chemical wipes is not required in almost all cases. AR 4340 HP is a very fast curing product with gelling of the mixed adhesive within 2-3 minutes and fixture in 3-5 minutes at room temperature. The cure time was designed for high speed manufacturing processes where fast fixturing is required. AR 4340 HP is easily dispensed from packaged cartridges or with commercial dispensing equipment as a non-sag, creamy gel, with no stringing. The product was designed to be used with static mixer tubes and has a balanced viscosity between parts. There are no abrasive fillers or extenders to reduce performance or cause wear in dispensing equipment.
