Material Notes:	Characteristics: TPC Group manufactures a very pure butene-1 (B-1) product at the Houston facility. Applications: B-1 is a favored co-monomer in the production of linear low-density and high-density polyethylene. B-1 is also used as a building block in the production of plasticizers as well as the manufacture of high performance gasoline additives. General: TPC Group has the largest B-1 capacity in North America. Packaging: With significant logistical infrastructure, TPC Group has the capability to make bulk B-1 deliveries in various modes including pipeline, marine, railcar and truck.
