Lanxess Addocat® 104 PU Catalyst/Activator
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Catalyst/Initiator

Material Notes: Addocat 104 is one of the standard catalysts for polyurethanes. In foam production it activates both the gas reaction and the crosslinking reaction. In the production of polyurethane foams the crystals of Addocat 104 can be dissolved in the water belonging to the recipe. If that is not possible, Addocat 104 can be dissolved in dipropylene glycol, ethylene glycol or 1,4-butane diol.

Function: Catalyst for the production of polyurethanes, e.g. flexible slabstock foam, hot molded foam, HR foam, filling foam, integral skin foam, rigid foam and other products.

Applications:

  • Continuous and discontinuous production of sandwich panels.
  • Discontinuous cold/heat insulation of refrigerators and piping.
  • On-site casting..
