| Product Description: The above Akrosperse® and Akroform® products are polymeric dispersions of TBBS-75 (N-tert-Butyl Benzothiazole Sulfenamide) (a.k.a. BBTS). TBBS is a sulfenamide accelerator that delays scorch but provides a fast, tight cure once cure begins. Advantages: Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality & raw material control. Akrochem polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions eliminate any irritating dust, as well as other potential hazards in handling powders in the plant. This is especially true with MZ since the powder form is hazardous (a poison under DOT regulations) while the dispersion is not. The physical form is easy to handle and weigh accurately.
