Material Notes:	Mayco Base 1217LV is a highly sulfurized, low viscosity fatty material. The additive’s low viscosity allows the metalworking blender to bypass heated storage, usually mandatory in dealing with most fortified sulfurized additives. Mayco Base 1217LV is not recommended for use in products destined for applications on any yellow metal (copper, brass & bronze), due to its high level of activity. Also, it is recommended the additive be incorporated in naphthenic oil-based products, as opposed to paraffinic-oil based products. Information provided by DoverChem
