Evonik POLYVEST® OC 800 S Polybutadiene

Material Notes:	POLYVEST OC 800 S is a maleic anhydride adduct of a low molecular weight cis-1.4-polybutadiene. This polybutadiene adduct has succinic anhydride groups randomly distributed along the polymer chains. This makes the originally apolar polybutadiene more polar and thus accessible for various chemical reactions. POLYVEST OC 800 S is a good electrical insulator and can resist freezing temperatures. It is also soluble in aliphatics, aromatics, ethers and compatible with long-oil alkyd resins, rosin esters and zinc resinates.
