Go Yen Chemical GY-MT32 High Effect Matting Agent Matting Powder
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Unlike traditional silica matting agent matting powder which fails under high temperature and tend to cause dust due to its lightness. Such matting additives are mostly only suitable for coating and paint. However, GY-MT-32 discard those disadvantages but embraces the perks of resistance to high temperature and satisfying specific gravity. It is thus designed for engineering plastics and alloy (ABS, PET, NYLON, PC/ABS), injection & extrusion, compounding. GY- MT32 High Effect Matting Agent Matting Powder is also applicable to general plastics (PVC, PP, HDPE, LDPE, EVA). It has been adopted by alloy and car materials producers at home and abroad.

Advantages:

  • Offer superior matting effect
  • Lower the gloss, avoid dazzling
  • Targeted at engineering plastics that need to be processed at high temperature.
  • High thermal stability, prevent yellowing and black spots
  • Good process-ability
  • Can be directly added into all kinds of resins at good dispersity
  • Suitable for extrusion and injection, and compounding
  • Discard the drawbacks of uneasy processing of lightweighted matting agent
Applications:
  • Engineering: ABS?PC?OPP?PET?NYLON?PC/ABS alloy.
  • General plastics: PVC?PP?PE?PS
  • Injection, extrusion, compounding
  • Various resins, polymers, elastomers (TPE, TPU, TPV, TPO, SBS, SEBS)
  • Natural rubber and synthetic rubber
  • Coating and paints: phenolic resin, Melamine alkyd resin, Amino alkyd resin, Vinyl resin, polyester resin, acrylic resin
  • Thermoset and thermoplastic materials
  • Paper industry
  • Medical and cosmetic packaging
