Material Notes: Product description: REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 is a lauryl polyglycol ether phosphoric acid ester.

Application: REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 is used as an extreme pressure (EP) and antiwear additive (AW) in aqueous based metal working fluids (MWF). It improves lubricity in neat rolling and drawing oils. Furthermore, REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 is used in the plastic and textile industry as an emulsifier and antistatic agent.

Properties / Benefits:

  • REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 provides good EP/AW properties in aqueous based MWF.
  • REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 enhances lubricity in neat rolling and drawing oils.
  • REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 has good hydrolytic stability in slightly acidic to alkaline solutions.
  • REWOPHAT® EAK 8190 is 73 % readily biodegradable (OECD 301 E).
