| Product description: Di-(hard tallow fatty acid amidoethyl)-N-poly-ethoxy amine Application: By reaction with acids, REWOSOFT® TE 19 gives cationic products, which are substantive in the acidic pH range. REWOSOFT® TE 19 is used under neutralized form as softener, antistat and levelling agent. REWOSOFT® TE 19 salts are useful in applications as: - softener for cellulosic fibers
- softener and antistatic agent for synthetic fibers
- softener for the preparation of acrylic flock (application in the dyeing bath)
- softener, antistatic and levelling agent for the one bath dyeing and finishing of acrylics (hanks)
Properties / Benefits: REWOSOFT® TE 19 is a raw material for the production of pseudo-cationic softeners. Under cationic form, it has excellent softening, antistatic and non-yellowing properties and is suitable for the treatment of native and synthetic fibers, especially of cotton and acrylics. Goods treated with REWOSOFT® TE 19 salts show a soft and greasy hand. The REWOSOFT® TE 19 salts are compatible with non-ionic, amphoteric and cationic substances and are not compatible with anionic substances and optical brighteners.
