Styrene Butadiene Rubber Characteristics: KOSYN SBR, a useful synthetic rubber, is a copolymer made from butadiene and styrene by cold emulsion polymerization. It has superior abrasion resistance and heat resistance in comparison with natural rubber, as well as widely useful physical properties of easy vulcanization and stable scorch properties. The products of KOSYN SBR are classified according to the emulsifying agent and stabilizer used in manufacturing process. Applications: Tires, footwear, rubber hose, auto equipment and other rubber products for industrial use. Additional Notes: Bound Styrene: 23.5% Stabilizer: Non-Staining Emulsifier: Rosin soap Coagulant: Salt-Acid Compound Properties: SRB 100, ZnO 3, S/A 1, HAF Black (IRB#7) 50, Accelerator TBBS1, Sulfur 1.75, Total: 156.75 Vulcanization: 145°C *35 m., Press Vulcanization This product is so sensitive to sunlight and humidity that it can be tarnished and caused deterioration of quality if exposed. It is recommended to store it in cool and shady area lest it should be exposed to direct sunlight. Do not expose to incompatible materials or contaminants.
