EMS-Grivory Grilamid® LCL-3 H anthracite PA12-CF30
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 12 (PA12); Nylon 12, Carbon Fiber Filled

Material Notes: Product description: Grilamid LCL-3H anthracite is based on a heat stabilized PA12 and 30% long carbon fibers. Grilamid LCL-3H anthracite is characterized by the following key-properties:
  • high stiffness and strength
  • very low density
  • excellent notched impact resistance also at low temperatures
  • low creep
  • high heat distortion temperatures
  • very low moisture absorption
  • very good dimensional stability and little warpage
  • excellent UV-resistance
  • electrically conductive
  • low wear and coefficient of friction
The product has been designed for injection molding of technical parts especially in the area of die-cast metal replacement of highest performance. Grilamid LCL-3H anthracite is used in the following market segments:
  • sports and leisure articles
  • mechanical engineering
  • household and appliances
The carbon-fibers are aligned in parallel and are just as long as the pellets (usually 10 mm).
