Material Notes:	Description: MTM56 series prepregs are based on 120°C (248°F) curing toughened, epoxy matrix resins that have been specifically developed for rapid cure of components. MTM56 series prepregs exhibit excellent toughness and, after a suitable post-cure, can be used at temperatures up to 100°C (212°F). Features & Benefits: Versatile processing: autoclave, oven vacuum bag and press molding Rapid cure: 10 minutes at 120°C (248°F) 30 days out life at 21°C (70°F) 12 months storage at -18°C(0°F) Available in ZPREG selective impregnation format Good tack and drape Good impact resistance 100°C (212°F) end use temperature 5 hours at 80°C (176°F) minimum cure Product variants: MTM56B: Black pigmented woven prepreg MTM56FR: Flame-retarded, black pigmented woven prepreg MTM56FRB: Flame-retarded, black pigmented woven prepreg MTM56FRNY: Flame-retarded, yellow pigmented woven prepreg MTM56-1: Unidirectional prepreg MTM56-1B: Black pigmented unidirectional prepreg Information provided by Cytec, subsequently acquired by Solvay.
