Therefore, under the same volume, the open hollow carbon sphere has a larger specific surface area. In terms of application, the open structure of hollow carbon spheres is conducive to the entry of liquid materials such as liquid electrolytes and drug molecules, and is more suitable for use as catalysts or drug carriers than complete hollow carbon spheres.
