Go Yen Chemical GGK-410 Anti-Yellowing Agent (For Textiles)
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Intro: Technology Department of GO YEN CHEMICAL CO. LTD. (GYC Group) specializes in research and development, also devotes our efforts to satisfying customers’ needs. In the anti-yellowing field, we offer a series of total solutions to the customers which can be used on rubber and plastic products manufacturing, textile products manufacturing, and so forth. There are various factors that cause the yellowing. For the colorful, light, or white fiber products, the main causes of the yellowing are as follows:
1. Packing materials: PP/PE plastic films, paper boxes, foam, recycled paper, adhesive, and so forth into which butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) is added during the producing process
2. Lignin containing in packing paper boxes
3. Products that are in direct sunlight or ultraviolet light for a long period of time
4. Contaminants in air and atmosphere: NOx, Sox, or Ozone
5. Low quality of fluorescent agents, treating agents, or dyes added during the producing process, or incomplete dyeing
6. High-temperature producing process
7. The growth of mold or bacteria caused by the damp storage environment
GGK-410 Anti-Yellowing Agent is mainly directed against BHT contained in packing materials and the contaminants in air that cause the phenomenon of yellowing. GGK-410 Anti-Yellowing Agent can successfully inhibit the yellowing happened on artificial fiber (e.g. nylon, polyester, blended), cotton goods, wool textile, and so forth which will enhance a good’s life span and value.

Advantages:

  • Prevent fiber products from producing naphthol yellow caused by antioxidant
  • Prevent the yellowing occurred on textile caused by NOx, Sox, or ozone
  • Prevent the textile from fading
  • Well effect on white or light color of textiles
  • Prolong product life span
Applications:
  • Polyamide (PA)
  • Nylon
  • Polyester
  • Blending textile (nylon and elastic fiber)
  • Any cotton goods
