Master Bond adhesives
Konson TCY-70 Masterbatch
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Composition: 70 % 2,4,6-trimercapto-s-triazine, 30% ECO rubber binder and dispersing agents

Use Characteristics: Normally, Konson® TCY-70 is used as an effective curing agent for the vulcanization of halogen-containing rubbers such as ECO and CO rubber compounds, CIIR and BIIR compounds, and ACM rubber. But also used as co-crosslinking agent for the NBR/PVC blend. The compounds containing Konson® TCY-70 are scorch sensible but sustainable. Compounds therefore should be processed not long after mixing. Compounds have to be stored under cool conditions. Depending on the formulation, storage time should not exceed one week. To improve the storage stability it is recommended to combine TCY-70 with retarders, e.g. Konson® CTP-80. Konson® TCY-70 shows excellent bonding adhesive between metal and rubbers.

Applications: ECO, CO, ACM, CIIR, BIIR based industrial goods, NBR/PVC rubber articles.
