Northstar Polymers MPA-F03A Polyurethane Flexible Foam
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Elastomer, Unreinforced

Material Notes: MPA-F03A is a versatile polyurethane foam formulation engineered for molded flexible foam parts, sheets, dies, and blocks. Its low-viscosity liquid components allow for easy handling at room temperature, making it suitable for both small-scale manual processing and large-scale automated production. With a free-rise density of approximately 3.3 lbs/ft³, MPA-F03A delivers a foam ideal for applications requiring flexibility and cushioning. For optimal shape stability, physical crushing is recommended immediately after foam formation. This formulation is an MDI-based, water-blown polyether system, free from auxiliary blowing agents, making it an environmentally conscious choice. MPA-F03A has a short pot life, requiring meter-mixing equipment and an automated molding setup for larger part production. This ensures precision, consistency, and enhanced productivity in industrial applications.

Part-A Component: MNA-014 (Prepolymer)
Part-B Component: PAB-024 (Curing Agent )

Mixing Ratio: 47:100 = Part-A: Part-B by Volume (100: 183 by weight)

The tested ratio ranges are:
Part-A: Part-B = 100: 183 (for firm) to 100: 269 (for soft) by weight
Part-A: Part-B = 32: 100 (for soft) to 47: 100 (for firm) by volume
