CHR® M-Series (1 Mil PET/Rubber adhesive) is manufactured from polyester film with rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive. Features/Benefits: M716 protects circuitry from chemical splashes and fumes. The thermosetting rubber adhesive system offers excellent quick-stick properties and flag resistance, yet unwinds easily. The polyester backing resists damage from sharp edges. Polyester backings offer low-cost, effective holding for materials. Operating temperature is -18 to +163 °C, elongation % at break is 100, tensile strength is 44N/cm and dielectric strength is 5,000 volts. M897 has an operating temperature of -18 to +177 °C, and ESD controlled static charge of <50 volts for removal from roll and board. Applications: M716 offers economical methods to hold, insulate and/or protect various materials. M716 is used as a fume protection tape for the manufacturing of printed circuit boards and designed to be used in conjunction with M717, M737, M803 and M849. |
