Evonik TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 Polyamide compound
Categories: Polymer

Material Notes: Product description: TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 is a siloxane polyamide compound delivered in pelletized form.

Application:

  • TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 is recommended to be used in polyamide compounds and other engineered polymers to guarantee permanent scratch resistance
  • TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 should be used with up to 4 % in filled PA systems. The higher the filler content the higher the dosage level of TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 has to be.
  • TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 can be applied in polyamide co-compounds with non-polar thermoplastic materials such as PP.
  • TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 will enhance glass fiber filled PA compounds regarding melt flow and by that brilliant appearance of dark surfaces occurs.
Benefits: TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 is a non-migrating additive for the improvement of permanent, long-term scratch resistance. TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 can be used in com-pounding or molding operations. TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 works in a wide range of talc or glass fibre filled systems, which are used for automotive or E&E applications. TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 does not influence the gloss of the polyamide compound. TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 is suitable for thermoplastic polyamides which are compounded with other thermoplastic polymers. TEGOMER® AntiScratch 200 reduces, due to better melt flow, the cutting of glass fibers during com-pounding. Therefore, moulded parts show less melt flow lines and a more brilliant black or coloured appearance.
