Description: Latene series thermoplastics are polypropylene homopolymer (PPH) products. They provide good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties together with good chemical inertness. The wide range of filled Latene allows a choice based on shrinkage, impact resistance, rigidity and/or surface finish, according to project demands. Compared to filled versions, reinforced Latene grades, especially chemically coupled versions, offer considerably greater rigidity and thermal resistance under loads. All the Latene grades may be adapted to specific project needs. Several characteristics may be enhanced, such as flowability, heat-stability, anti-static quality, stability on contact with metals and detergents, UV-stabilization (except for normal self-extinguishing types). Specific Notes for this Material: self-extinguishing UL94 V0 with halogens; stabilized for heat and contact with metals; 30% glass fiber with chemical bond; good rigidity; good mechanical characteristics.
