Material Notes:	KANTHAL 180 R 05 is a thermostatic bimetal which is recommended for use in the temperature range -20 to +200°C. In extreme cases it can be used at temperatures up to a maximum of +350°C. Typical applications for KANTHAL 180 R 05 are in circuit breakers, motor protection units, thermostats, shower mixers etc. High-expansive component: 72-18-10 Alloy(411 Designation, 35.1% of thickness) Low-expansive component: Invar 155 Alloy (450 Designation, 32.1% of thickness) Intermediate component: Copper (470 Designation, 32.8% of thickness) Information provided by Sandvik Composition: High-expansive component: Designation 411; 74% Mn; 12% Ni; 14% Cu Low-expansive component: Designation 450; 0.12% Mn; 36.8% Ni; Bal.
