Material Notes: Properties: DMP is a colourless, light-fast, clear oily liquid, slight sweet odor, soluble in all organic solvents .

Application: Cellulose acetate composition and compatible, in all proportions. DMP plasticizers poly vinyl acetate and rubber. Dissolves many natural resins, Glyceryl-phthalate resin and may be used with Coumarone resins. As additive in polysulfide rubber to reduce shear strength & for easy mixing. Used in manufacturing of celluloid. As solvent in nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate in varnishes/lacquers. As solvent in graphic films and sheets, blister packaging and tape applications. In formulations of organic peroxide. A s Mosquito repellent.
