Matexcel NAT-1100 Alginate Oligosaccharide
Categories: Wood and Natural Products

Material Notes: Alginate oligosaccharide (AOS) is the degradation product of alginates extracted from brown algae. As a multifunctional oligomer, it has attracted widespread attention in plant research. Different methods of preparation generate AOS possessing diverse structural properties, and result in differences in AOS activity.

Application: Medicine and health care: 1. Prevent Alzheimer's disease and improve the memory level of the elderly Aß (ß-amyloid) is the main component of senile plaques in the cerebral cortex and an important substance that causes Alzheimer's disease. Fucoid oligosaccharides can interact with Aß to antagonize Aß toxicity and play an auxiliary role in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. At the same time, algae oligosaccharide can greatly increase (230%) the activity of choline acetylase in the cerebral cortex, promote the synthesis of acetylcholine, greatly increase the content of acetylcholine in the brain, and prevent memory loss. Therefore, fucoidan oligosaccharides can effectively prevent Alzheimer's disease. 2. Improve immunity and anti-tumor Fucoid oligosaccharide has a good activation and induction effect on non-specific immunity and specific immune system, can activate macrophages, and can inhibit tumor cell proliferation and kill tumors by inducing macrophages to secrete tumor necrosis factor and interleukin. It has no cytotoxicity and no damage to normal cells. 3. Increase bone density and effectively treat osteoporosis It has a good effect on the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, and has a good effect on promoting the regeneration and repair of articular cartilage. Skin care daily chemical field: 1. Moisturizing and moisturizing function Fucoid oligosaccharide has a good moisturizing and moisturizing effect, which can lock the skin moisture, keep the skin fresh and smooth, and make the skin more elastic. 2. Anti-free radical oxidation, delay skin aging Fucoid oligosaccharide can well scavenge superoxide anion (O2-), hydroxyl radical (OH-), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and other free radicals that cause skin aging and long spots, and delay cell aging.
