| Product Description: Akrobright OB is an additive that increases the whiteness color by offsetting the inherent yellowness in a product. It works by a fluorescent process involving absorption of invisible UV light and emission of visible blue light. Applications: Akrobright OB finds applications in most plastics, among them polyurethanes, acrylics, polystyrene, polyamides PVC, fibers, polycarbonate and cellulose acetate. Also used in coatings, printing inks, and adhesives, Typical dosage is between 0.0005% - 0.001% by weight.
