Synthos NBR is produced in Oswiecim, Poland by low-temperature emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile and coagulated by a system of acid and synthetic coagulant, stabilized by a non-staining antioxidant. Three grades are produced under the KER® brand with differing bound acrylonitrile content. These rubbers are used for manufacturing a wide range of technical products that require good resistance to oils, fuels and greases. Due to their non-staining antioxidant content, these rubbers may be used to manufacture light- or brightly colored products. They are also suitable for use in food contact or potable water applications.Information provided by Synthos |
