Material Notes: Mobil Clean High Mileage is formulated from high quality base stocks combined with the modern performance additives, including a seal conditioner to help prevent leaks in higher mileage vehicles and an advanced cleaning additive system to provide excellent engine cleanliness at oil drain intervals up to 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. These oils protect against sludge and engine rust and corrosion under severe and low-temperature operating conditions. Pour depressants and a viscosity index (VI) improver are included, where required, to provide optimized viscosity and fluidity over a wide range of ambient temperatures. Mobil Clean High Mileage is available in three multi-viscosity grades: SAE 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40. Mobil Clean High Mileage 5W-30 and 10W-30 contain friction-reducing additives, and these two viscosity grades are classified by the American Petroleum Institute (API) as "Energy Conserving" engine lubricants, and meet ILSAC GF-4. All three viscosity grades meet API SM.

Mobil Clean High Mileage 5W-30 and Mobil Clean High Mileage 10W-30 are recommended for higher mileage (generally more than 75,000 miles) gasoline fueled automobiles and light duty trucks requiring an API SM, SL or SJ product or API CF or CD. They also meet ILSAC GF-4 (Starburst Certification Symbol). Mobil Clean High Mileage 10W-40 is recommended for higher mileage gasoline fueled automobiles and light duty trucks where a higher viscosity oil is preferred or recommended and where an API SM, SL or SJ or API CF or CD product is required. A SAE 10W-40 oil may provide better oil consumption control in older vehicles where oil usage (burning) is an issue. Before using a Mobil Clean High Mileage performance motor oil, consult the owners manual of the vehicle for the manufacturers recommended viscosity grade and API Service Classification.
