| GY-FRE540 is microencapsulated red phosphorus masterbatch specially for PET and PBT which imparts phenomenal flame retardant performance to PET or PBT products. By using PBT polyester resin as its carrier, GYFRE540 is wrapped by using encapsulation technology to prevent the red phosphorus from moisture absorption, reduce its activity, improve the compatibility, and remain a high concentration of active flame retardant component. GY-FRE540 shows excellent thermal stability, electrical performance, mechanical behavior, compatibility, and dispersivity. Additionally, GY-FRE540 is with ease of handling and incorporation while it can directly compound with plastic pellets and will not cause dust formation or migration during processing.
