Material Notes:	KANTHAL 127 R 09 is a thermostatic bimetal which is recommended for use in the temperature range -20 to +350°C. In extreme cases it can be used at temperatures up to a maximum of +400°C. Typical applications for KANTHAL 127 R 09 are in circuit breakers, motor protection units, thermostats, shower mixers, etc. High-expansive component: 15-7 Alloy(440 Designation, 34.8% of thickness) Low-expansive component: Invar 127 Alloy (330 Designation, 46.1% of thickness) Intermediate component: Copper (470 Designation, 19.1% of thickness) Information provided by Sandvik Composition: High-expansive component: Designation 440; 6.9% Mn; 17% Ni; 76.1% Fe Low-expansive component: Designation 330; 0.4% Mn; 40.7% Ni; Bal.
