CHR® Brown SGB6 is fibreglass fabric impregnated with PTFE, laminated to a proprietary PTFE film that is then coated on one side with high-temperature, silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Features/Benefits: CHR® SGB6 is a laminate construction offering a relatively thick and consistent layer of PTFE over the entire cloth surface. This makes it more durable and longer lasting than conventionally produced tapes. The combination of uniform thickness and pin-hole free construction enables CHR® SGB6 tapes to outperform thicker, standard tapes. CHR® SGB6 is dimensionally stable and resistant to tears, punctures, abrasion and wear. Applications: CHR® SGB6 is frequently used in the packaging industry as a release surface on heat sealers, blister formation and in form, fill and seal equipment where heavy production demands require the ultimate in release properties. The durability and anti-stick properties of SGB6 also make it an ideal material for the lining of guide rails, chutes and slides. The high temperature capabilities and non-stick properties allow it to perform as an excellent release surface in severe industrial environments for platen covers, dry can covers and in the composite moulding industry. |
