Description: Primer for Digital Printing Usage: Michem® In-Line Primer 030 imparts a print-receptive surface to paper substrates to improve the ink transfer and adhesion of HP Indigo Electroinks. It is used in the in-line priming unit available as options on both the WS6000 and WS6600 presses. The primer improves the surface of a wide range of paper substrates, both uncoated and clay-coated of various basis weights, as well as PSA label stocks with paper face-stocks, including textured papers. Application Data: Apply a drop to the surface. The colour will change from blue to yellow if the surface has acid functionality. Michem® In-Line Primer 030 is designed specifically for use in the in-line priming unit of an HP Indigo WS6600 printing press. As such, when run as instructed by HP Indigo on paper substrates, the ILP unit will apply the correct amount of primer to achieve optimal ink adhesion and press performance.
