| Vinnolit® P 80 PVC for paste application. Vinnolit® P 80 is a fine grained homopolymer for plastisol processing giving low viscosity plastisols with an excellent shelf life. Vinnolit® P 80 pastes with a medium plasticizer content show Newtonian rheology at low shear rates (Brookfield) and dilatant behavior at high shear rates. The dilatancy can readily be reduced or even eliminated by blending with extender resins such as Vinnolit® EXT or with specialty emulsion grades. Due to the very low emulsifier content this product shows very low moisture absorption and shows an excellent thermostability with high-gloss-film-finish. The main application areas are transparent top coats, special dip coating processes and for cover seals/gaskets.
