Properties/attributes include: Improved friction and wear behavior. Emergency (dry) running property. Isotropic shrinkage characteristics. Applicable e.g. for machine parts, moulds, tools and containers used in the food industry. Detectable. Automotive industry, textile machinery, apparatus- and precision engineering. Typical uses include: Reduced moment of inertia compared with metal parts. Processing: During processing the moisture level should not exceed 0.1%, otherwise molecular degradation and surface defects (e.g. smearing) may occur. Excessively high predrying temperatures may cause discoloration. The processing notes provided merely represent a recommendation for general use. Due to the large variety of machines, geometries and volumes of parts, etc., it may be necessary to employ different settings according to the specific application.
