PURGEX 3057 Plus thoroughly removes all types of colorants and engineering resins, such as nylon and polycarbonate, from the barrel, screw, and nozzle of thermoplastic resin injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding equipment, as well as hot runner systems. PURGEX 3057 Plus includes a modified polyethylene for higher temperature resins. PURGEX 3057 Plus can be used for rapid turnaround on color and material hanges with challenging resins such as LCP, PBT, and PPO, on alloys such as PC/ABS, and is recommended for glass- or mineral-filled applications. This blend operates up to 600°F (316°C) with a five minute soak, or higher temperatures without a soak.
